Catholicism and Zionism

Seldom have two worldviews been more incompatible

Catholics who profess Zionism are a tiny minority of Catholics worldwide, however, they do exist. They may be divided into two camps:

1) Those who support Israel out of pure ignorance.
2) Those who support Israel as a matter of personal conviction.

The former position is pure ignorance, and usually not malicious. The latter position, however, can be called completely heretical and even apostate.

For a Catholic to support Israel as a matter of ideology, and not simply out of ignorance, is a terrible thing that we must condemn as totally anathema to the Christian faith. It is to endorse blasphemy, and apostasy, and to take the side of those who say they wish to crucify Christ again.

To support the blasphemous State of "Israel", again, not out of pure ignorance (which is probably not even a sin given how much Israeli propaganda is hammered into the minds of the masses), but out of a kind of actual genuine conviction is evil, sinful, and indeed cries out to heaven for vengeance.

No Catholic can in good conscience support the evil Zionist regime!
